Audreana (they, them) is a queer and nonbinary, self-taught, multidisciplinary tattoo artist (since Feb '22), and painter living with Ehlers-Danlos and neurodivergence. They have been obsessed with animals, and creating art since some of their earliest memories. They were born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to Chicago in 2017. They have an academic background in wildlife conservation, and marine sciences and an art background in biological illustration and portraiture. They are trauma-informed, and practice a consent driven approach. They came to tattooing through their journey to self-compassion and healing. It is their goal through tattooing to bring radical acceptance and self compassion to those they connect with. They believe that tattooing is a deeply collaborative from of medicine that can change peoples lives forever, starting with their relationship to their body.

To learn more about Audreana and their practice, read their interview with HNDL Magazine, below.

They are always taking commissions and bookings, so if you want to connect to create something beautiful together, just reach out!
